Health Education
Online Zoom/in-person health-coaching sessions offered in Spanish covering applicable disease management education. Connecting people with providers and educating them on the intricacies of the healthcare system.
Community Outreach
Organizing free screening events (e.g. diabetic retinopathy, colon cancer) and distributing donated medical supplies.








Fundador
Abishai es un estudiante Ć”vido con pasión por aprender y ayudar a la comunidad desfavorecida. Utilizando sus habilidades en espaƱol, Abishai se ha ofrecido como voluntario en clĆnicas para indigentes y ha trabajado en las comunidades locales de personas sin hogar. Su experiencia en clĆnicas le ha permitido desarrollar un conocimiento de la atención mĆ©dica y un interĆ©s en la ciencia, lo que le permitió ver eventualmente las cirugĆas de primera mano. Sus intereses lo han llevado a competir en ferias de ciencia distritales, regionales y estatales, obteniendo premios de organizaciones como Baylor Scott y White Organization. Abishai ha dirigido varias organizaciones en su escuela, incluida la presidencia de LASER (Aprendizaje sobre ciencia e investigación en ingenierĆa) durante los Ćŗltimos dos aƱos y la presidenta de la Sociedad EspaƱola de Honor.

Meet the health coaches
Nita Belliappa

Nita Belliappa is a certified dietitian and a well-being coach. She believes that food and lifestyle changes can heal you and get you back on the path to health living and a disease free life!
She is also a trained yoga teacher.
Her clients have been able to reverse diabetes, high blood pressure, and gut related issues through specific food and lifestyle changes. She hopes to impart her knowledge to make an impact in communities most impacted by certain chronic diseases.
Paola Sandoval
Paola Baza Sandoval is originally from Chile where she worked as a certified midwife for 16 years. She came to the United States in 2010, and in order to continue working in her field, she had to obtain her nursing degree. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from Baylor University in 2015, started working as a labor and delivery nurse in Baylor McKinney in January 2016 until now. In order to expand her knowledge and help specifically the underserved population, she decided to pursue the FNP path and graduated in 2019. She has worked in primary care and currently works in cardiology. Personally, she is married, but does not have any children or pets!
Aleska Pellot

Aleska is a Health Coach specializing in chronic condition management, including diabetes, heart disease, metabolic syndrome, and high cholesterol. She is dedicated to supporting individuals and families by providing essential care and resources, particularly for those with food sensitivities, allergies, and special dietary needs.
Jesús Muñoz, MS, PA-C

Jesús Muñoz, MS, PA-C is a certified physician assistant that practices in Hospital and Critical care medicine. A first generation Mexican-American from Jalisco, Mexico, he is interested in community healthcare education regarding mental health, chronic illness education, and social determinants of health. He obtained his Bachelors in science from Indiana University in Human Biology with a concentration in human health and disease, with a minor in Medical Sciences. He is a trained Physician Assistant alumni from Rosalind Franklin University. He has worked with unhoused populations in Bloomington, Indiana and Los Angeles, California where he completed a rotation in Street Medicine, honing clinical and social knowledge in providing medical care for unhoused populations across the lifespan.
Skylar Stewart-Clark, PA-C, PhD

Betsy Torres, PA

Betsy Torres is a certified physician assistant who has a passion for serving underserved and minority communities. She is a proud alumni of The University of Texas Medical Branch. She has experience working in hospital medicine, and now enjoys working in family medicine.
Medical Advisory Team
Mary graduated from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in 2004 as a PA-C. She ha been working with family and pediatric specialists since then, with a special passion for minority communities and those traditionally marginalized in the healthcare system.
